Unfortunately Amazon does not tell you the bit sizes in this set. I just purchased one (Jan. 2010) which has the following eight bits: 1/8, 3/16, 1/4, 5/16, 3/8, 1/2, 5/8 And 3/4 Inch.

Shortly after getting this kit, I used the 3/4" bit to drill a hole in the bottom of a porcelain pot that we had been using as a flower pot. The bit started very easily, and cut through quite nicely. Very satisfied with the performance.

Excellent, it did the job without difficulty. Highly recommended, best on the market in my opinion.
The set has a nice collection of sizes (1/16, 3/16, 1/4, 5/16, 3/8, 1/2, 5/8, and 3/4 inch) packed in a nice compact heavy duty case. The sizes are useful for various projects around the house.

I used the 3/16 inch bit to drill holes in my ceramic tile shower wall to hang a towel bar. Put some masking tape on the wall, marked the holes and just drilled without no problems. The bit cut a smooth hole with just a little pressure and very little walking on the surface. 4 holes, all done right the first time in the right place.

They work well -- at least on ceramic tile. I have not tried them on glass and don't currently have any plans to do so (don't need any holes in my windows :-)). Definitely recommend them if you plan to do some drilling in the bathroom.

I needed a good set of drill bits for our new ceramic and glass tile bathroom. The bits were excellent for the ceramic tile. Started easily with no wandering. Clean holes. The glass tiles were another story. We used 1" mosaic tiles for the shower area, but I needed to drill holes for the handheld shower set. I practiced on extra tiles beforehand and found that the drills would get through the glass, but the spade style bit would catch and crack the tile 3 out of 4 times. I finally bought a diamond core bit and that worked well.
