I would use Green Board or Cement boards. You would probaly be better off with cement boards. They are sheets of cement you put up instead of drywall, butif not this….use greenboard. Helps keep away moisture and easy to install.

my suggestion is to seal your basement walls before putting up the drywall, that way you wont have any unkown/unwanted leaks. the stuff is rather expensive around 15 dollars a gallon but works great and would save you some money in the long run. because you dont want water proof drywall up infront of a leaky basement wall. however you dont want wet fiberglass either. so hope that helped.

You’ve done everything right so far. Go ahead and hang green board while you are at this stage. It doesn’t cost that much more and might save you down the road. Here are some links t5hat might help you…
