This bathroom was remodeled using the USGBC's ReGreen Criteria. The old bathroom was cluttered, and the look was out of style. We started by donating the old tub, toilet, and vanity to a rehabber that was doing a gut remodel on an old home. We then removed the tub deck to open up the area, extended the shower, and added a seat in the shower. We used a waterproofing membrane on the shower floor, seat, and walls, to be sure there would never be any leak or mold issues. We laso replaced all of the drywall behind the shower walls with fiber cement backer board. We added radiant heating to the tile floors, and a Panasonic Whisper Green exhaust fan with occupancy sensor that was vented through teh roof to the exterior of the building envelope. We used tile with recycled content amd recycled glass mosaics. We also added recessed soap and shampoo niches in the shower, added a shower seat with a solid surface Corian, and a frameless glass enclosure with dual pivoting door. The shower fixture is a Kohler Water Sense rated showerhead with a handheld spray as well. We added a free standing tub to help save space and add a uniques achitectural element. We sued a Kohler Antique bath faucet with a handheld as well. The toilet was a Water Sense rated Kohler Cimarron. The vanity was a European Spa style vanity with vessel sinks and matching mirrors. All of the lioght fixtures were Energy Star fixtures.

Basement has a bedroom/workout room with flat panel on wall, closet and storage room off of, a spacious bathroom with custom cabinets, granite top, marble floors, crown molding, linen closet, double sinks, a toilet room, urinal (for the cave man lol) a very spacious shower (all marble with a shower head, rain head and 6 spray heads), finish is Ralph Lauren Metallic with Ralph Lauren candle light on trim. Hallway has custom sconces with Ralph Lauren Suede paint, Wine cellar has slate floors, custom sink, custom mahogany wine racks, wall unit with exotic marble tops, 2 wine coolers, tasting area and solid mahogany door with wrought iron and glass. Entertainment/Ballroom has marble floors, custom trim package with pediments separating Livingroom, closet and bistro eating area with arches that will have picture murals in them, entertainment room also connects to the custom oak bar with judges panel, bar has 2 sub zero fridges, ice maker and dishwasher, dual sinks with custom wall unit behind, glass tiles as back splash as well as around mirrors on wall unit, setting this bar apart from any other is the fabulous water wall behind the bar with custom lighting, relax as you have your beverage, then head over to the concession stand for your favorite candy before heading to the movie theater where you can enjoy your favorite movie on a 103" screen with the all new Bose 8.1 surround system. 1. Outdated Color Schemes

Orange shag carpeting and paisley prints went out decades ago, but the overripe avocado-colored tile in your bathroom has been hanging on long past its due date.

For a quick (and wholly necessary) update, replace it with the elegance of granite or sandstone. If you're not able to remove the tile, a fiberglass-backed façade can be cheaply and easily installed over the original tile.

2. Water Damage

Mildew and mold are quick to take advantage of the moist air inside a poorly vented bathroom. To fix this problem, venting and moisture issues must first be resolved. Kill mold spores with chlorine bleach or antifungal products, and then thoroughly prime the bathroom walls before painting or wallpapering over the stains for a fresh new look.

3. Space Without Style

A big, plain bathroom can feel smothering and impersonal, so dress it up with new colors and visual focal points! Frame mirrors with elegant wooden molding or a funky mosaic tile, in accord with the theme you've chosen for your bathroom remodeling project. Big bathrooms can also be dressed up with bright paint colors like salmon and turquoise, which would easily overwhelm a smaller space.

4. Ugly Vinyl Flooring

For a cheap and creative bathroom remodel, paint old vinyl with colorful stencils or cover it with textured paper, and coat the results in polyurethane for protection and water resistance. Guests will be amazed by the new look!

5. Blank, Boring Walls

If patterned wallpapers and bright paints aren't enough to dress up the canvas of your bathroom walls, consider adding extra creative flair with a mural or custom-painted wainscoting. Sky-blue walls dotted by idyllic clouds can make a bathroom feel like a true haven, and playful fish or under-the-sea themes are right in line with the watery reality!

Whatever your budget, there's no reason not to transform your bathroom into a place that truly welcomes every person who steps inside.

www.imdb.com Transferred the fish to a different tank, cleaned up the tank and refilled it with water and salt. Going to be adding electric outlets and light. Insulation added. Going to add a sink or some kind of drain system. Got some wall paper and going to paper the outside. Finished laying slate in the bathroom and started the pond with a waterfall. Going to have a fireplace in the bathroom with a plasma screen TV along with jetted tub and stand up shower. Second turkey hatched out. Now we have a yellow and black turkey. Body for life challenge. Just completed the second month. Still going good. Could be doing better. Down to 238lbs from 253 in two months.

This is a slide show of our kitchen remodel. My husband and I started this project in March of 2008 and just finished it at the end of May. We did all the work ourselves and saved a lot of money, I did the electrical, plumbing, flooring and tiling and my husband designed and made the cabinets, installed the solid surface countertops and sink put in the crown molding, etc.... and we did the rest together. I also put new flooring in the rest of the house except the bedrooms and we painted and put crown molding througout. We also put in a gas fireplace, a pocket door, new trim on all the doors and a new french door. I installed recessed lighting in our family room as well. Next we will tackle the bathroom....stay tuned.
